The free plan is the product, not a trailer for it.

Attendance, chat, a public page and an unlimited roster are in the free plan, because a team that cannot see who is coming cannot be run. Paid plans add money, signatures and scale — not the things a coach needs on a Tuesday.

Questions people actually ask.

Is there a player cap on the free plan?
No. A free team can carry as many players as it has, and adding the twenty-first does not change what the plan can do. The free plan is limited to one team — that is the whole limit.
Is attendance really included for free?
Yes, in full: the three states, the note field, the list of families who have not answered, the reminder, and the cutoff that freezes the count. A team-management product that hides the headcount is not a team-management product.
Do I need a club account to run one team?
No. A standalone team is a first-class object, not a club with one team in it. Nothing in the product assumes an organisation above you, and you can attach to a club later without rebuilding anything.
What does it cost to take a payment?
The processor's rate: 2.9% + $0.30 on a card, 0.8% capped at $5 on a bank transfer. We add nothing. A household paying for two children on two teams pays one transaction fee, not two.
Our club runs two seasons a year. How is that priced?
By registered players in the current season, not by season count. Two seasons of 200 players is a 200-player club, billed at the base rate — you are not charged twice for the same children in March and September.
Do you charge per coach, admin or parent?
No. Add every assistant, every treasurer and every guardian you like. Charging per administrator is how a club ends up sharing one login, which is the opposite of what an audit trail needs.
Can we get our data out?
CSV export on every plan, an API key on paid plans, and a calendar feed for anyone. There is no export ticket and no retention hostage — if you leave, your roster, schedule and signed documents come with you.
Will there ever be advertising?
No. An ad network on a page listing children's names, ages and locations is a data sale wearing a banner. It is not a thing we will do at any price. The longer answer is here.

Start with one team. Add the club later.

A single team is free, forever, with the whole core loop — schedule, roster, RSVP, chat, public page. Nothing is held back to make you upgrade.

No credit card. No ads, ever.
